Abstract: To improve the heating effect and speed, wall-mounted air conditioners are usually equipped with PTC electric auxiliary heating to compensate for low-temperature heating. But in the case of low temperature and low speed, when the electric auxiliary heating is turned on, the indoor unit often produces abnormal noise, which affects the user's use and experience. Based on CFD numerical simulation and experimental verification, this paper verifies and analyzes different forms of electric auxiliary heating and different installation positions. Determined the influence of the shape and location of the electric auxiliary heating on the air volume, noise, condensation and other aspects. By optimizing the layout of the electric auxiliary heating, the peak value of the broadband average caused by the auxiliary heating is effectively reduced, the air volume is obviously increased, and the sound quality is improved. which has guiding significance for the subsequent design of the electric auxiliary heating position.
