Abstract: Nowadays, many well-known brand mobile phone manufacturers have claimed that their new mobile phones are no longer equipped with power adapters and need to be purchased separately. In household and similar electrical appliances, this phenomenon that safe extra-low voltage power supply units and appliances powered by safe extra-low voltage are sold by different manufacturers is also more and more in the market, people often do not know enough about the safety risks of such products and do not understand the safety standards thoroughly. Based on the standard GB 4706.1-2005 “Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 1: General requirements”, discusses the basic insulation protection requirements of safe extra-low voltage power supply components, so as to analyze and understand the relevant safety requirements of the standard.
