Research on design scheme of damping pin of drum washing machine based on finite element analysis

Abstract: The design of damping pin has great influence on the use and assembly performance of washing machine. The finite element analysis is used to study the influence of design parameters (outer diameter, opening groove width, buckle height, plug height) on the assembly force and mean contact pressure of damping pin. Aiming at the assembly simulation analysis of shock absorption pins, the analysis method of assembly simulation of shock absorption pins was studied through the verification of grid convergence and simulation accuracy combined with experiment. Through the finite element analysis of the damping pins of different design schemes, the best scheme was selected to improve the assembly reliability by increasing the contact pressure after assembly, with lower assembly force and better manufacturability, providing quantitative analysis guidance for the design of damping pins.
