Application and investigation on self-clean of air-conditioner

Abstract: In view of the increasing demand of users for air conditioners, they pay more attention to the comfort and health of air conditioners, and pay more attention to whether the indoor room air environment is good. There are many air conditioners with self-cleaning function on the market. Aims to evaluate the cleaning effect of each self-cleaning function, user experience and other aspects to help improve and modify the self-cleaning function. By simulating the user's environmental do comparison test method, the operation logic of the self-cleaning mode, the state of the air conditioner during self-cleaning, and abnormal sounds were recorded for analysis and comparison, and it was concluded that the four sets of air conditioner realized the self-cleaning function by cooling operation and condensing firstly, then cooling operation and frosting, and then blow air or heating operation to defrost to dry evaporator. The sound of ice cracking will appear in the frost and defrost process of the four sets of machines, similar to "crackling" sound, and the user experience is not good. The frost forming process is the key to the abnormal sound, and further research needs to be conducted through comprehensive evaluation to improve the self-cleaning function and the use experience of the air conditioner.
