Abstract: In the GB/T 18801-2015 standard, for particle CADR test, it is recommended to use cigarette smoke particle from the Hongtashan Classic 150. In this study, in order to compare the effect of the smoke particles from different brands of cigarettes on the particle CADR test, three brands of cigarettes (the Hongtashan Classic 150 cigarette, Century Hongtashan cigarette and Japan SevenStars cigarette) were chosen for the particle CADR test using three air cleaners, respectively. It was found that the deviation of the test results of these three brands of cigarettes is small, less than 3%, indicating clearly that Hongtashan Classic 150 can be replaced by Century Hongtashan and Japan SevenStars for particle CADR test.
