Abstract: With the development of AI technology, the Open-Door smart vending machines are widely used instead of the traditional vending machines. The normal refrigerator can be changed into smart vending machine by adding cameras, lock, and control box. The smart vending machine has less cost but better shopping experience than the traditional vending machine. In order to solve the goods recognition problems of the smart vending machine an algorithm system is proposed. By applying different AI algorithms and technologies to analyze the videos captured by the cameras it is possible to give accurate recognition result of the goods that the customer purchased. The experimental results proved that the proposed algorithm system is qualified for the practice usage of the smart vending machines.
