Research and optimization of IH resonant voltage based on electromagnetic field and circuit

Abstract: At present, IH technology has been widely used. In the field of household appliances, the parallel resonant topology composed of a single IGBT is usually used. In practical use, the IGBT is broken down by overvoltage, resulting in a high failure rate of the main board. In order to study the resonant voltage characteristics of IH, the equivalent impedance of IH load is analyzed, and the physical three-dimensional model is established in Maxwell for finite element simulation, and the impedance parameters are extracted. Substituted into the IH parallel resonance self frequency modulation model built by Simplorer, the peak voltage stress of IGBT is analyzed and calculated, and the accuracy of field circuit simulation is verified by single test. Finally, based on the IH resonant voltage analysis and optimization platform built based on the above theory simulation experiment system, a solution to the problem of too high resonant voltage of induction cooker IGBT is proposed. Through experimental verification, the resonant voltage is reduced and the requirements of product safety margin are met.
