Abstract: With the improvement of national requirements for energy conservation and emission reduction, room air conditioner as a large consumer of household appliances, its energy conservation and efficiency has always been the top priority of the research of air conditioning manufacturers, but also the core demand of users. Vapor-bypassed technology can effectively solve the problem of increasing heat production while reducing pressure drop and improving system energy efficiency especially under low temperature heating conditions. The effects of vapor-bypassed evaporation technology on annual seasonal energy efficiency and the heating capacity of room air conditioners were studied by using gas bypass enhanced heat transfer technology, so as to provide reference for related technical fields. The experimental results show that the switch of the gas bypass system can promote the heat production of the system, the rated heat production is increased by 3.8%, the low temperature heat production is increased by 5.9%, and the energy efficiency of low temperature heating is increased by 4.2%. The annual energy efficiency consumption rate of air conditioners increased by 3.3%. At the same time, it is necessary to consider the effect of volume flow rate of bypass gas on capacity during system commissioning.
