Abstract: With the rapid development of the internet of things and artificial intelligence technology, household appliances are gradually intelligent, and the intelligent technology of gas water heater is also advancing rapidly. However, whether the intelligent characteristics of gas water heater on the market really meet the needs of consumers, and how to judge good from bad for the same intelligent function, to solve these problems, a set of concrete and operable evaluation standards are urgently needed. The issue and implementation of T/CAS 485-2021 "Intelligent technology of intelligent home appliances special requirements for gas water heater" is a good solution to this problem. Through extensive market research and test verification, the standard makes clear requirements and test methods for the core intelligent functions of intelligent gas water heater one by one, helping and guiding the intelligent development of gas water heater.
