Research on asymmetric profile design of scroll compressor based on r454b refrigerant application

Abstract: Based on the dynamic grid CFD simulation of the compression chamber and combined with the characteristics of R454B refrigerant, the influence of low back pressure vortex compressor model line parameters on pump performance and axial gas force was studied from the perspectives of line equation, content product ratio, and suction and exhaust form. On the basis of the original algebraic spiral profile, an asymmetric suction profile based on the circular involute equation form was optimized. Through testing and verification, the new line improved the overall performance by about 1%~1.5% compared to the prototype line.
