Abstract: Air pollution has become the biggest threat to people's health. The development of human economy has not only caused global warming, but also exacerbated air pollution and reduced indoor air quality in residential areas. The air quality of residential buildings is jointly affected by indoor pollutants, outdoor pollutants, and people's daily activities. Cooking activities, smoking, interior decoration, etc. can all affect the indoor air quality of residential buildings. Long term exposure to over standard environment will endanger human health, increase the incidence rate of various respiratory system, digestive system and other diseases, and even cause cancer. People should pay attention to the quality of indoor air, understand the sources of common pollutants and their impact on human health, and study effective and feasible improvement measures.
