Abstract: The cross flow duct fan is limited by the form constraints of suspended ceiling installation, and there are significant differences between product design and actual use conditions. In addition, the cross flow fan itself has the flow field characteristics of eccentric vortex instability, which is affected by upstream guide components such as suspended ceiling air intake grilles, resulting in a decrease in fan duct performance and noise deterioration. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the performance impact of cross flow duct fans under different intake conditions. In order to study the impact of intake conditions on the performance of the cross flow duct fan, summarize design optimization methods, and conduct experimental testing and simulation mechanism research on the free intake and lower intake conditions of the cross flow duct fan. Under the condition of lower air intake, a dual guide arc flow channel scheme is adopted, and different parameter combinations of dual guide arc flow channels are designed to optimize the optimal point of multi parameter combination, improve flow distribution, increase air volume, improve flow efficiency, optimize the aerodynamic noise performance of the fan duct, and provide theoretical guidance for the design and development of subsequent cross flow duct fans.
