Abstract: With the popularization and application of air conditioning, the comfort of air conditioning is the most concerned issue for users. And sleep scenes are the most comfortable scenarios for users to experience. In the past, air conditioners were generally set with a fixed sleep curve for temperature adjustment in sleep scenarios. However, due to the inability to monitor user sleep information feedback, it was not possible to flexibly adjust the air conditioner to meet the needs of various different users. There are generally two methods for monitoring sleep: contact based and non-contact based. Contact based sleep monitoring devices can cause discomfort during sleep, and this article studies non-contact sleep monitoring methods. This article elaborates on the use of non-contact millimeter wave radar to detect human presence and sleep information, combined with the application scenarios of air conditioning, to achieve precise temperature control, intelligent fresh air, intelligent wind speed and other controls, creating a comfortable sleeping environment for users and improving their experience.
