Abstract: Flash, The term"the quality of the plastic industry", A useless part of a product's edge. Because the extra part usually has a front, So it's called a cape . The flash is usually produced in the mold parting surface, insert, slider position. Due to material fluidity, defect of mold structure, unreasonable product design, improper molding process. At present, the use of plastic products in all industries more and more. Many product structure designs have been replaced by plastic. Adapt to the needs of the era of light-quantification. For example: automobile products, home appliance, electronic products, etc. However, plastic products are easy to cause flash in the process of mold forming. This is a fatal quality defect for product quality. This paper takes home appliance air conditioning panel as an example. Study on the cause of plastic products in flash. The corresponding improvement plan has been developed. It's not only meet customers' requirements towards appearance and update product grade, but also make a breakthrough for such pain point of the mold.
