Abstract: Based on the literature about human safety current and contact voltage threshold, the difference of human body protection against electric shock under dry condition and wet condition is analyzed. The differences and similarities of the relevant international standards and technical documents of transportable whirlpool SPA are interpreted, and the importance of IΔn=10 mA PRCD is discussed. On the basis of analyzing the function of protective equipotential bonding, and aiming at its lack of feasibility, it is further demonstrated that the IΔn=10 mA residual current protection plug with PE wire disconnection can replace the protective equipotential bonding on transportable whirlpool SPA.
