A study on the suction muffler of a high efficiency and noise reduction refrigeration compressor

Abstract: With the rapid development of social economy, people's requirements for living materials and environmental protection are getting higher and higher. For the refrigeration compressor industry, improving compressor performance and reducing compressor noise are more and more in line with the development trend of the refrigeration compressor industry. Therefore, these two requirements are increasingly being valued by related companies and industry personnel. By using Ansys software to calculate and analyze the muffler characteristics of vacuum suction muffler cavity, the best muffler frequency band is about 3200 Hz, which is the most sensitive to human ear. At the same time, through the heat transfer test of the suction silencer chamber with different vacuity, it is found that the higher the vacuity is, the more obvious the heat insulation effect is. After a large number of tests, it is concluded that the higher the vacuum degree of the vacuum muffler chamber is, the more obvious the efficiency of the compressor is, and the noise is becoming more and more obvious. When the refrigerant suction temperature drops by 10℃, the efficiency can be increased by about 3%, and the noise is reduced by 1.4 dB.
