Application of a new impeller in range hood

Abstract: Aiming at the problems of low air volume, high noise and low static pressure of range hood, redesigns the impeller of the core fan of range hood. By selecting a certain model for numerical simulation analysis, we find the problems of the existing scheme, optimize the impeller design, and verify the correctness of the new structure design scheme through numerical simulation analysis and experiments, and then find the best design parameters of the impeller. In addition, the comparison between the new impeller and the original impeller shows that the new impeller installed on the range hood has obvious improvement in the air volume and maximum static pressure performance.
