CFD simulation analysis of range hood’s air duct

Abstract: In the design of a range hood, the design of a air duct is the most important. The performance of a range hood is directly determined by whether the air duct is reasonable or not. The two different sides suction range hood models are bulit, using the fluid dynamics method to simulate the air duct, the final conclusions mainly associated to the air volume, lampblack flow field, velocity flow field and negative pressure area analysis, are got.
