The reaserch of dehumidifier refrigerant loss test in North America

Abstract

Abstract: This article expounds the special safety requirements for relay in air conditioner with flammable refrigerant. Combining with working principle and structure features of relay, analysing from two aspects, IEC 60335-2-40 for air conditioners and IEC 60079-15 for equipment protection at explosive atmospheres,to explain the explosion-proof methods, protection requirements, test points and analysis for practical application problems.
