Abstract: To better control the swing amplitude of the fan blade driven by large deformation, a blade control method was presented to reduce the deformation and simultaneously meet the aerodynamic performance, with the combination of Fluid-Solid Interaction simulation and high-speed three-dimensional imaging. Firstly, the main working area was analyzed through the fluid simulation. Then, the camber of the blade root was redesigned, which improved the local stiffness to reduce the whole deformation without seriously affecting the performance. Finally, the maximum swing of new structure decreased from 1.388 mm to 1.074 mm, with a decrease of 22%. The aerodynamic performance test result verifies the reliability of the proposed control method and the improvement of sound quality.
