Abstract: The article mainly discusses about the application of metal honeycomb combustion-supporting boards made by curly corrugated ribbons in household cooking stove burners. To solve the problem of short lifecycle and poor stability of such metal honeycomb combustion-supportion boards, combining with the experiments, the article analyses the root cause of short lifecycle, easy deformation, oxidation, easy fall-off of catalytic coating, short useful tiom of catalyst and backfire phenomenon. Through the own use theory that far infrared ray can catalyze combustion, the article focuses on oriented structure design, material optimal selection, processing technic and tool standard improvement of metal honeycomb combustion-supporting boards, in order to achieve the effects of long lifecycle, good stability and being not easy to get backfire.
