Abstract: Global energy shortage and climate deterioration have become major problems facing all mankind. Using off-grid solar products, as one of the important new energy products, is one way to solve energy shortage and other problems. Off-grid solar photovoltaic products generate electricity through photovoltaic modules and provide energy supply for lighting, household appliances and other products through energy storage batteries and control devices. In 2022, two Chinese version of the IEC standards for off-grid solar products are released for the first time in worldwide, which provide a unified test method and an evaluation standard for off-grid solar products. Based on many years of testing experiences, the laboratory analyzed some important items according to the Chinese version of two IEC standards in detail, which could help manufacturers and users of standards well understand the technical requirements of the standards and could contribute to the improving quality of off-grid solar products.
