Abstract: Most of the indoor side of window air conditioners use centrifugal blades to supply air, and the air duct structure leads to the current noise of more than 60 dB. In order to improve the user experience, the new generation of silent window air conditioners mostly adopts cross-flow fan systems on the indoor side. In order to study the influence of the cross-flow fan system on the air volume and noise of the window air conditioner, in view of the problems of low air volume and high noise of the existing window air conditioner, the performance of the fan system is improved by studying the cross-flow fan system, so as to improve the air volume, reduce noise and improve the comfort of the window air conditioner. By optimizing the layout of the air duct inlet and outlet and the resistance of the runner, the size and blade shape of the through-flow blade are optimized to match the system of the whole machine to achieve the purpose of improving the air volume. The experimental results show that the reasonable air duct end layout and the change of the worm tongue to increase the diameter of the blade increase the air volume of the cabinet machine significantly.
