Abstract: As an important constitution of food contact product, kitchen appliance should compliance the requirement of national standard for food contact safety. However, at present, the food contact safety assessment of kitchen appliance is taken on the component, and no test and assessment method can be found to evaluate food contact safety of whole product. In this paper, we uses whole product simulation test and component weighting test to evaluate the food contact safety of whole product. The results show that the compliance of component doesn’t represent the compliance of whole product, which means that the evaluation of whole product food contact safety has significant meanings.
