Abstract: Based on sound wave interference theory, the suction noise influence analysis of certain double-cylinder compressor of our company under single and double suction modes are carried out. Comparing three accumulator model schemes, it is found that single suction structures have small pressure pulsations and have better sound reduction effects than those of double suction structures. The theory is verified to be correct and effective by comparing with test results. The analysis method proposed in the paper can be used to instruct the design schemes for suction noise optimization of double-cylinder compressors.
