Summary of anti-microbial and sterilization technologies in washing machine

Abstract: Washing machines, as an important tool for household cleaning and care, have been widely used. With the demand for healthy washing and protection improving, the research and application of anti-microbial and sterilization have been more and more extensive. The bacteria in the washing process come from the internal components of the washing machines and the clothes. Antimicrobial technologies for internal components include isolation technology, spray technology and the application of antimicrobial materials and so on. The sterilization techniques for those two aspects mainly include ozone eliminating bacterial, silver ion eliminating bacterial, light eliminating bacterial, electrolytic water eliminating bacterial, high temperature eliminating bacterial, disinfectant eliminating bacterial and so on. In this paper, working principles of antimicrobial and sterilizing technologies are introduced, which provide reference for consumers to understand the antimicrobial and sterilizing washing machine products better.
