Abstract: Air-cooled refrigerator air duct structure characteristics directly affect the whole air volume and air volume distribution between rooms, which has a large impact on the performance of the refrigerator. CFD method is used to simulate the whole air duct system for a model of three-door variable temperature refrigerator. Through the analysis of the internal flow field, the air duct structure is optimized to eliminate the flow field vortex. The air outlet layout is adjusted to improve the air volume distribution between rooms. Finally, the whole air volume was improved from 14.8 g/s to 17.3 g/s, and the air volume of the variable temperature room was improved by 36%. Carrying out experimental verification, the refrigerator temperature distribution has been greatly improved, reliability test pass.
