Abstract: In the field of home appliances, reducing carbon emissions and improving the energy efficiency level of products have been the development trend in recent years. Dishwasher products are mainly heated by electric heating due to the requirements of washing temperature and drying dishes, and the energy consumption value is high. Based on the working characteristics of a platform electric dishwasher product, a one-dimensional thermal simulation model is established and the heat transfer process and energy distribution in the washing cycle are described, and the total energy consumption prediction error is less than 4%, and the characteristic parameter characterizing the degree of dishwashing from the perspective of heat absorption of tableware—washing factor is proposed. The energy consumption of the dishwasher is further optimized according to the NLPQL optimization algorithm, and it is found that the energy consumption can be reduced by 6% with the same washing level, and the findings are of reference value for balancing energy consumption and washing efficiency in dishwasher product design.
