Abstract: The radiant heating system brings excellent thermal comfort but consumes much energy. How to ensure comfort while reducing the operating energy consumption has become an important issue. By building a simulation platform for home air conditioning radiation system, studies the comfort and energy consumption performance of different operation control strategies, and finds some rules. Firstly, a modular system simulation platform was built, and calibration and verification were carried out based on experiments. Based on the system simulation platform, the comfort and energy consumption characteristics of different control strategies were studied. Under intermittent operating conditions, the air conditioning and radiant floor double-on strategy can ensure better energy saving without reducing thermal comfort when people are at home, compared with the traditional constant water temperature control strategy. The typical daily energy saving is up to 35%. The longer the interval, the higher energy saving is observed. The energy saving rate may be affected by the outdoor working conditions when the unit is turned on. The results can be used to guide the control design and optimization of home air conditioning floor heating systems.
