旋转域网格对多翼离心风机CFD仿真结果的影响

Influence of mesh in rotation domain on CFD simulation results of multi blade centrifugal fan

摘要: 计算流体力学(CFD)仿真是多翼离心风机优化和研究的重要手段,风机旋转域几何处理细节、网格类型等都将会对CFD仿真计算结果产生一定影响。研究首先对同一叶轮划分不同的网格,并计算不同网格条件对CFD计算结果的影响,其中网格条件主要包括不同的网格类型:六面体网格、混合网格,有、无边界层网格,以及旋转域是否扩展;然后通过一个优化实例分析了造成仿真结果误差的原因。研究结果表明,无细化边界层网格、旋转域扩展均会导致仿真结果偏差,研究案例中的多翼离心风机模型经修正后,风量仿真结果与实测结果最大差值由4.40%降到0.73%。研究对提升多翼离心风机仿真的准确性具有重要意义。

Abstract: Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation is an important method for optimization and research of multi blade centrifugal fan. The details of geometric processing in the rotation domain of the fan, mesh types, etc. will have a certain impact on the CFD simulation results. Firstly, divide the same impeller into different meshes, and calculate the impact of different mesh conditions on the CFD calculation results. The mesh conditions mainly include different mesh types: hexahedral, hybrid, mesh with and without boundary layer, and whether the rotation domain is expanded. Then, a case was presented to analyze the error in simulation results. The results show that, the non-refined boundary layer mesh and the expansion of the rotation domain will lead to the deviation of the simulation results. After the multi blade centrifugal fan model in this research case is modified, the maximum difference between the simulation results and the measured results is reduced from 4.40% to 0.73%. The research is of great significance to improve the accuracy of multi blade centrifugal fan simulation.
