Overview of technical research and application analysis of compressed air energy storage

摘要: 在全球能源转型的大背景下,可再生能源因其清洁、可持续的显著优势而得到大力发展,然而其发电受自然条件制约。为解决这一问题,压缩空气储能技术应运而生,以其独特的储能特性、灵活的系统配置和广泛的适用性,成为解决可再生能源消纳问题的核心手段。全面介绍了压缩空气储能(CAES)的储气设施、工作原理及应用现状,重点分析了补燃型、绝热式、蓄热式、等温式、液态及超临界压缩空气储能技术的特点与优劣势。通过综述国内外示范项目,探讨了CAES技术的发展趋势及与可再生能源的耦合应用,为后续压缩空气储能系统的设计提供理论指导。

Abstract: In the context of global energy transition, renewable energy has been vigorously developed due to its significant advantages of cleanliness and sustainability. However, its power generation is constrained by natural conditions. To solve this problem, compressed air energy storage technology has emerged as the core means to solve the problem of renewable energy consumption with its unique energy storage characteristics, flexible system configuration, and wide applicability. This article comprehensively introduces the storage facilities, working principles, and application status of compressed air energy storage, with a focus on analyzing the characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of supplementary combustion, adiabatic, thermal storage, isothermal, liquid, and supercritical compressed air energy storage technologies. By reviewing domestic and foreign demonstration projects, the development trend and coupling application with renewable energy, which of CAES technology are explored providing theoretical guidance for the design of compressed air energy storage systems in the future.
