Abstract: In the winter heating scenario, air source products often stop heating due to the defrosting of outdoor heat exchanger, which leads to the decrease of indoor temperature and poor user experience. Therefore, improving the comfort of indoor users during defrosting operation has become an important subject for air source heat pump. Outdoor heat exchanger is divided into two parts. By controlling the saturation temperature of the refrigerant and using the latent heat of the refrigerant, the effective alternate defrosting technology of heat exchanger is developed. The experimental results show that: 1. Effective defrosting is achieved with the lowest refrigerant flow at a defrost saturation temperature from 2℃ to 8℃. 2. Under the outdoor condition of 2℃, the average heating capacity of latent heat defrosting is 75% of the rated capacity.
