Optimization of policy path for stimulating consumption by swapping old for new in the home appliance industry

Abstract: Nowadays, the home appliance industry has entered a mature stage of industrial development, and the social population is becoming saturated. It is crucial for the home appliance industry to effectively promote the upgrading and replacement of the industry, better meet the diverse needs of different consumer groups for home appliance functions, and obtain new consumption growth points. The policy stimulus of replacing old with new in the home appliance industry is in line with the needs of industrial development and is also a driving force for promoting sustainable development of the industry. Therefore, home appliance enterprises need to seize policy opportunities, take precautions, accurately grasp the industrial environment faced by the home appliance industry, identify market demand, and improve transaction mechanisms. For the government, it is necessary to build a governance mechanism with multiple entities, guided by market demand, and optimize and innovate policies.
