Abstract: The water circulation air conditioning system using R290 as the working fluid effectively solves the safety problem of R290 air conditioning by using plate heat exchangers to deliver the cooling capacity indoors without the working fluid entering the house. This article establishes an ε - NTU model of the system to simulate and analyze the influence of indoor heat exchanger air volume and water circulation on system performance. The results show that the heat capacity flow rate of circulating water is equal to that of air, which can improve the temperature efficiency of the heat exchanger in most cases. A control method that can accurately control the pump flow rate by only measuring the system temperature is also proposed, which can serve as a basis for optimizing the design of water circulation air conditioning systems.
