Noise analysis and improvement of range hood based on Lighthill theory

Abstract: Based on Lighthill's acoustic analogy theory, the noise of range hood is analyzed, the main noise source of range hood is determined, and the modification and optimization are carried out according to the important influencing factors of noise κ-ω The numerical simulation analysis of the flow field of the turbulence model is carried out to verify the flow performance before and after the modification, and the scheme of noise reduction is effective, which provides a valuable direction for future research.
