Abstract: With the impact of COVID-19 and the unprecedented increase of consumers' attention to healthy home environment, the design of health materials is becoming more and more important in the design of household appliances. Mining the latest innovation achievements in product, material and technology to cope with the emerging global health crisis and meet the consumer's focus has become the key research direction and work content of refrigerator material design. Steel plate is widely used in refrigerators as the appearance of metal materials, its surface added antibacterial function can greatly improve the market competitiveness of products as health appliances. By analysising the existing refrigerator steel plate surface treatment process, steel plate to increase the antibacterial function of the implementation technology path, the antibacterial industry is currently suitable for the refrigerator surface to increase the antibacterial function of the implementation method, suitable for the refrigerator environment requirements of the type of antibacterial agent, suitable for antibacterial steel plate color and decorative texture implementation process, the promotion and application of health materials in refrigerators are analyzed and expounded.
