Abstract: By using the CFD numerical simulation method, based on the Euler-Eulerian two-phase flow model, the mathematical model of gas-liquid two-phase flow in the liquid distributor is developed to study the effects of different dryness, mass flow rate and placement methods on the volume fraction distribution, flow rate and distribution performance of gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant in the liquid distributor were analyzed. The results show that when the liquid distributor is placed vertically, the dryness and the mass flow rate have little effect on the distribution performance of the liquid distributor. The dryness and the placement have a greater effect on the gas-liquid two-phase flow of the refrigerant in the liquid distributor. The performance of the liquid distributor placed vertically is better than that of the inclined liquid distributor.
