Study on loosening failure of box-closure panel screw connections based on finite element analysis

摘要: 针对洗衣机箱体-封门板螺钉连接结构的松动失效问题,进行螺钉连接结构中拧紧力矩与预紧力关系的有限元仿真,得到了拧紧力矩与预紧力的线性关系用于判断螺钉防松性能,进而分析了影响螺钉松动因素。针对松动失效问题,基于三种螺钉紧固结构的Mises应力分布的有限元仿真结果,提出了将原有工况下的螺钉类型更换为双螺旋线螺钉的解决方案。最后通过静态扭矩测试以及振动试验测试对前面提出的解决方案进行实际验证,为洗衣机螺钉连接的设计提供指导。

Abstract: To address the issue of loosening failure in the screw connections of the washing machine cabinet and door panel, a finite element simulation was conducted to study the relationship between tightening torque and pretension in the screw connection structure. A linear relationship between tightening torque and pretension was obtained, which can be used to assess the anti-loosening performance of the screws, and the factors influencing screw loosening were further analyzed. In response to the loosening failure issue, based on finite element simulation results of von Mises stress distribution for three types of screw fastening structures, a solution was proposed to replace the original screw type under existing conditions with double helix screws. Finally, the proposed solution was practically verified through static torque testing and long-term vibration experiments, providing guidance for the design of screw connections in washing machines.
