Abstract: After 8 hours of random vibration testing, the bottom of the motor bracket of a certain model of air conditioning outdoor unit cracked at the bend. To investigate the cause of the cracking, the fixing position of the motor bracket and base was analyzed, and the impact of the fixing position on the stress amplitude of the motor bracket bend was obtained through theoretical calculations. Through finite element simulation analysis, multiple simulation scenarios were tested to solve the cracking problem of the motor bracket, providing ideas for the structural design of the motor bracket.
